Signs, convincing visions of true horror from the minds of the youth and a flying reptile

 These are the best signs of the week. The first is actually a couple years old, from the chainsaw carving coffee stand on the way back from the Mackenzie river. Now I know how to abbreviate biscuits and gravy in  a text message.  Truth be told though, I still hold out for a second career as a roadside chainsaw carver as a retirement option.



 Have you seen this dog? I don't know that I would recognize it. But it looks like at least four other sharp eyed citizens may have seen a bone white hot dog with toothpicks for legs and a mushed upside down ice-cream cone for a face wandering down the alleys of southeast Portland.



Just Don't Do It.

This is the Dimorphodon that Ursa and I put up on the garage door to scare away intruders and velociraptors. The process really reminded me of the show boomerang (not the Eddie Murphey one). A TV program I remember nothing about other than the opening when they hang giant red letters on a barn wall and something about "bing bong bang."

BING BONG BANG IS BOOMERANG. I always thought that was Julie Andrews from the Sound of Music. NOPE. Also, that show was only broadcast in the PNW. Ask people from the rest of the country. They know not.
