current events

The next "big" plan is to currate a group show at Tiny's on MLK in April 2009. All artists are doing four pieces no bigger than a breadbox. Pending themes: Lifecycles, Animal Sex, Animals at Work, Something Being Overtaken or Magic Plants....negotiations are in progress.

Its halfway through August already...Ive got a show hanging at le Merde 301 SE 3rd and Morrison...and a new baby boy named Ursa...thats the news...or at least thats some news...Huge thanks to Jason Brown and Chris Habberman for being such awesome hosts and organizers at the Goodfoot and at the paint jam...and thanks to everyone who bought art and came out to see it at all last month...I sold almost everything from the show...it was an awesome show and a great experience...

Last Thursday of June, GOODFOOT

I am really excited to put up my new paintings and constructions at the Goodfoot...Giant bird wing sculptures and dream markets...and more animal paintings...bigger and better animal paintings folks, bigger and better...because the recipe for success never calls for smaller and crappier...it just doesn't...and along that line of thinking I am making a new new years resolution even though its May...I will keep up on this blog more thouroughly...this I promise and if I should fail in my duties here than I will erase this posting and nobody will know I had set that kind of goal...see how that works guys...shoot for the stars...cause if you fall short, theres a good chance noone will notice...especially considering it will take years for the light of the stars you may have shot at to reach earth...you could just wait till the big next super-nova to show up in the science pages of the Oregonian and be like "oh yeah. I got it...that was the one I was shooting for!"
